I have worked as a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor in Ohio for over 20 years, working as counselor, supervisor, and manager in mental health, substance abuse, and criminal justice settings. I use an eclectic approach, incorporating elements from cognitive-behavior therapy, reality therapy, and Gestalt therapy, with men, women, couples, families and groups to help them achieve improved relationships and greater serenity in their lives. My considerable experience in both mental health work and substance use treatment gives me a unique perspective and a comfort level to work with a wide range of clients and with a more coplex set of issues.
